K.A. Community Consulting led the City of Pembroke’s 10‑year Parks & Recreation Master Plan, combining a rigorous environmental scan with extensive community engagement to guide investments in parks, trails, facilities, and programs through to 2034. The plan provides clear, phased recommendations and an implementation framework that Council and staff are now using to prioritize projects, support budget decisions, and inform grant applications.
Township of rideau lakes - parks and recreation master plan
For the Township of Rideau Lakes, we developed a Parks & Recreation Master Plan that assesses outdoor recreation facilities, programs, and trails, and sets a realistic roadmap for enhancing services across a large rural municipality. Built on local data, site visits, and broad input from residents and stakeholders, the plan helps Council balance community expectations with available financial and staff resources.

K.A. Community Consulting is leading Deep River’s Recreation & Culture Master Plan, a comprehensive process that will guide future decisions about facilities, programs, events, and cultural services. The plan translates background research and community feedback into clear goals, actions, and implementation steps that help the Township prioritize improvements while managing limited resources.

For the Town of Espanola, we led an age‑friendly assessment and action planning process that examined local conditions, engaged older adults and partners, and produced a practical Age‑Friendly Action Plan for 2024–2027. The plan includes targeted recommendations, resource needs, and a marketing strategy, and its actions are already being implemented to improve accessibility, inclusion, and quality of life for older residents.
